Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a unique item that will make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be found in armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to increase the level of their Item Upgrader Kit. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer bonus effects or attributes while the equipment is being used. The equipment being upgraded must have an upgrade slot to accept the component. Most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be at an amount. Some upgrade components also have special visual effects when applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, bought from karma sellers or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or as rewards in game.

Infusions are utilized in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enhancements are used for some items that are ascended back. Slotting in an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs that can only be placed in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.

Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures and ornaments, fractions and swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters as well as regular glyphs like em dashes and en dieshes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. It also has up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by other bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item upgrader kit. You only need to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Every weapon, jewelry, or armor piece has a different collection of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be upgraded by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a glyph has been upgraded to its desired level You can activate it by selecting it and then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and increase the number of nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed in areas that will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses if certain conditions are met which is why they're worth checking out for too.

Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by choosing an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs; Math symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process by which you create a new account to give yourself more opportunities to access the character or weapon you are interested in. It can help you level up faster or to gain better loot, like the Best item upgrader weapon for your current character. Many players repeat the roll until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of ability. It could be because they like the design or personality of the character.

You should ensure that you make clean changes when you restart. This means you should check locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks and run a core development check. You should upload the patch with a plain difference to an issue (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls may take days or weeks depending on how lucky you are. During this period, you should avoid any optional enemy camps to cut down on time. In addition, you should avoid re-doing any quests that are completed later in the game. This will save you time and energy.

Sets

When you upgrade a set item, it becomes an upgraded version that is better than the previous version. This means that armor and weapons will have a greater defense and lower requirements for strength.

Upgrades are a great way to bring popular single-set items into the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.

It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's Best item upgrade or Naj's Puzzler staff are already Elite and Exceptional in their own right and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their stats even more. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
