The Band Toto Asia

Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is a return to a classic sextet structure and an even more consistent and powerful album with a sharper edge. The more edgy sound of the album reflected the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's greater ability on the drums and a more confident, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's keyboard playing was as well more refined, more precise and less akin to previous recordings.

After touring to promote their album, the band recorded their Amsterdam live performance that was released by Eagle Records as a 2-CD set titled Falling In Between. The studio album came out shortly after, and the band embarked on an extensive world tour in support of it.
