2. Injectors
Yesterday, as i was accelerating off the highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a significant drop in power. It was like the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. I took out the spark plugs this morning and found that 3 were soaked with gasoline and the 4th was dry. I put a piece of tissue over each hole in the injector and when i turn the engine on without sparks, the three with gazoline jump out. The 4th one remains closed. I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found zero ohm. I assume that the problem is in another location.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car will start if the G28 is unplugged and it runs perfectly when it is connected but it still has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The coolant temperature sensor (G62) shows the wrong temperature of that is -49c even after unplugging it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars but the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do, i believe that i've completely ruled out all other possibilities. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. If anyone has suggestions, please chime in! TIA!
