Path of Exile Item Upgrading

The ability to upgrade items allows players to upgrade their weapons and equipment with new affixes, increasing its base stats or providing additional benefits. To upgrade an item upgrades, the player has to have it in their inventory, as well as access to the kiln.

Items that have weak bases, such as rings can be upgraded to more robust bases. Items with bases that are strong, such as Titans from eth, have no change in their stats.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools, providing an attribute bonus or extra impact when the equipment is used. Leveling
