It features a 220 degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170 mins when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.

It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in one go. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, but not by much. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms extend out slightly more than other robots, which is helpful to maneuver around tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be employed to clean larger objects, such as broken toys or books.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It doesn't produce as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It is easy to install, and it works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum solely to mop it is important to be aware of this.

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners looking to purchase an efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the house and locate furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean methodically and efficiently. This leads to a thorough, consistent clean that's also fairly fast.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, however it also has distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its enormous dock that doubles as the robot's charging base and housing for two water tanks, a clean sink as well as a 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base has several control buttons that allow you to manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad however, the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between use. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a big change from the utilitarian all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing sight in a space that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
